I'm Niloy Nath — a software engineer based in Hyderabad, India, and Founder & CTO of two AI products. Online I go by π + θ (piplustheta), which is what happens when you let a math joke become a personal brand.

I currently work at ValueLabswhile building two AI products as Founder & CTO, in stealth. One is a consumer AI platformI've built and scaled from 0 to 25K+ users, spanning conversational AI, generative media, personalization, GPU inference, and the backend systems required to run them in production. The other is an AI infrastructure platform focused on making text, image, video, audio, and speech models accessible through a unified developer infrastructure layer.

My work increasingly sits at the intersection of backend engineering, distributed systems, and production AI — APIs, databases, queues, model serving, GPU infrastructure, observability, and developer tooling. At ValueLabs that means building backend services and LLM-powered automation tools, mostly Python, FastAPI, and the infrastructure glue that holds enterprise workflows together.

Earlier in my career I worked across software engineering and research through Samsung R&D Institute India (Samsung PRISM), building video processing pipelines, and ÉTS Montréal under the Mitacs Globalink program, researching efficient image classification.
